They say you learn the most when you’re building something from scratch. For me, that ‘something’ was a crochet business that taught me the fundamentals of branding and grit and piqued my interest in the world of business.

Today, I’m applying all the lessons I learned from starting my own side hustle in my corporate job, blending creative problem-solving with professional precision. Take a look at my work history to see how these two worlds collide.

Eh! Crochet – Founder

Built an independent e-commerce brand from inception, managing end-to-end product design, manufacturing, and global distribution.

Executed a high-growth social media strategy, amassing 5M+ views on a single campaign and scaling a loyal following on TikTok and Instagram.

Oversaw all business logistics, including material sourcing, pricing strategies, and profit margin analysis

Maintained Dean’s Honour Roll standing while specializing in Marketing with a concentration in Sustainability and Social Impact.

Appointed as a TA for four Sauder courses, including Business Communications (I, II, and Double Degree) and Innovation & Sustainability. In these roles, I provided 1-on-1 academic mentorship, and managed grading for large-scale cohorts

Spearheaded the end-to-end legal incorporation of the company, managing all regulatory filings, insurance requirements, and operational licensing.

Designed and launched the full brand identity, including a custom-built website and a suite of digital marketing materials to establish a professional market presence.

Architected the company’s internal workflows, from initial client intake and quoting systems to final invoicing and financial reporting.
